SINCE 1969
Lazy HK BAR RODEO CO.

The Lazy HK Bar Rodeo Company was founded in Lake Chelan by Harlan Knowles in 1969. In the early 1990's when Harlan met Christine Redell, they formed not only a partnership out of love for each other, but for the rodeo business as well. With the addition of Christine, the Bar was added to the Lazy HK brand, making it the incredible union that still exists today as the Lazy HK Bar Rodeo Company. The passion for breeding and raising bucking bulls over a 45 year span is now shared with their grandsons, Beau Shelton & KC Knowles. Breeding generations of athletically and genetic superior bucking bulls is the life work of this team. With genetics going back to Skoal Long, Rapid Fire, Yellow Jacket, Playboy, Dr. Proctor, and Mossy Oak Mudslinger, just to name a few. Harlan spends most of his time at the ranch, taking care of the everyday chores and looking after the younger stock and cow herd. Beau and KC spend most of their time hauling the bulls to bull ridings and rodeos all over the Northwest, including PBR Touring Pro events, PRS (Professional Rough Stock) events, as well as NPRA rodeos and open bull ridings. The Lazy HK Bar Ranch, located in Silver Creek, has always been a place for wayward cowboys, always an open door, always a hot meal. You can't find an event that doesn't have a cowboy who hasn't benefited from their generosity and love of rodeo.
